NICHOLAS LOSITO ... Dr. Nicholas J. Losito, Ph.D., CISM was a highly decorated Naval Services sailor during the Lebanon Campaign and is the founder of Hand of Passion. For the past 2 decades, he has been on the cutting edge of Bereavement Sciences and Care. Throughout his Naval career and subsequent counseling work from 1988 to the present, Dr. Losito has witnessed many deaths. During this time, he has learned that many families do not know how to proceed after the death of a loved one.
In his work at parishes and at medical centers, he has encountered numerous families who have experienced the death of a loved one due to a violent crime. Where there is no one and no funds for those families, Dr. Losito steps in to provide care to them.
